Osprey One Size Pack Fit Guide
This Pack Comes In One Size
Rather than choosing a size, you adjust this pack to fit you. The harness slides to match your torso length and the hipbelt adjusts around your hips, so a single pack covers a wide range of body shapes.
What you need to check is that your torso length falls inside the pack's range. That range is listed as Torso Fit in the Dimensions table on the product page. Measure your torso using the steps below, then compare.
Torso Length/Sizing
Osprey pack fit is based on torso length, not height. To determine your torso measurement, follow these simple steps.
1. Find iliac crest (Top of hip bone)
2. On the back of the neck find C7 vertebra - Touch your chin to your chest and feel for the large protruding bone at the base of your neck
3. Measure from C7 vertebra to the iliac crest to determine your torso length
Fitting Your Pack
1. Loosen every strap, then load the pack with about 10kg so it sits as it will on the trail.
2. Settle the hipbelt over the top of your hip bones and do it up firmly. The belt carries most of the weight, not your shoulders.
3. Tighten the shoulder straps. The harness yoke should sit 2.5 - 5cm (1 - 2") below your C7 vertebra, wrapping your shoulders with no gap.
4. Fasten the sternum strap about 2.5cm (1") below your collarbone and snug it lightly - it should not pull the shoulder straps inward.
5. Pull the load lifters at the top of the shoulder straps until they sit at roughly 45 degrees.
Take your day hikes to the next level with the Sirrus 24L.
The Osprey Women's Sirrus 24L Hiking Daypack is built tough for any day trip from the Victorian High Country to the Tasmanian coast. The 24L capacity is ideal for a day trip with enough room for a packed lunch, a couple of layers, water bottles and more. The recycled nylon material used in the Sirrus 24L is exceptionally durable to tackle brushing against rocks, sharp sticks, blackberry bushes and everything in between.
When the temperature rises, the Airspeed suspension and ventilation allow a layer of air to pass across your back, keeping you cool as you walk, and spreads the load across your back evenly when carrying heavy items. Throughout the Sirrus 24L, there is excellent organisation for your valuables and other bulky gear, such as zippered front stash pockets, side compression straps, integrated rain cover, internal hydration sleeve, and the list goes on. Wherever you plan on day hiking, choose the Osprey Sirrus 24L Hiking Daypack for comfort and functionality on the trail.
